We offer specialized programming in Game Design, Art & Design, and Engineering designed to unleashing students creativity and foster learning.

Our art and animation courses are designed to teach students the same animation principle that they’d learn in college. We spare no expense in making sure students are equipped to master animation.
How we got our start.

Originally founded in 2017 under the label Gx Studios, we’ve been running educational programs in engineering, game design, animation, and programming at various locations in NYC. We’ve been a mainstay after school vender for The Dalton School since 2017. Our Game Design, Engineering, and Animation programs have been a staple of after school for years and consistently bubbles over for enrollment.

Our Why

The idea for this company started after a one-off conversation the founder had with his childhood friend. His friend mentioned that he’d have loved to try out Game Design, but there were no options for them to learn it where we grew up.

Given the skills and knowledge he gained in his educational career, he decided to create a program that not only spoke to his professional interests, but also to the larger need of granting students exposure to various creative and technological pathways.

All students should have the opportunity to learn what they want EARLY in their educational career, no matter what!

Meet the Founder

Meet Kevin
the founder of Gx Studio Labs, LLC. To start, he is a 3D Artist, Technical Artist, and Mixed Reality Developer by profession. In addition to his profession as a designer and programmer, he’s also an avid educator, having worked in education in various forms since 2015. From humble beginning working after-school programs and summer camps across the world, to teaching at high schools in the South Bronx he’s no stranger to the education world. Seeing a lack of people of color in the world of game design and animation, he ventured to create Gx Studio Labs, an ed-tech company dedicated to teaching students Game Design, Animation, and Engineering students of all backgrounds.
